Artist’s Statement

My name is Gina Barrantes, the heart and hands behind GB ART Creations. Since I was a child, I’ve been captivated by the beauty of nature and its infinite ability to inspire. I would gather wood scraps, clay, and even ocean-worn branches, imagining a world where the everyday held something extraordinary—a teacup handle as a fairy perch, a branch transformed into something timeless.

My art is a reflection of this lifelong connection to nature and imagination. I work with resin, porcelain, and oil paint, each material chosen for its ability to convey the purity, vibrancy, and depth I see in the world around me. With a background in interior design, I’ve developed an eye for harmony and composition, creating pieces that are not only beautiful but deeply intentional.
